UCF Boosts Graduation Rates with Helios Transfer Grant

Presenters: Angie Smith, M.Ed. - Director, Transfer Center and Academic Support Services, UCF Connect - University of Central Florida & Bernard Huggins, Associate Director, Student Coaching - The Transfer Center at The University of Central Florida.
Description: Learn how the Helios Transfer Grant impacted students who transferred to UCF. The UCF/Valencia partnership helped to improve student success through additional support to students before and after their transfer from Valencia to UCF.

Presenters: Dr. Wendy Givoglu. Provost, Downtown, Winter Park, & Transfer Initiatives, Valencia College
Description: Learn how the Helios Transfer Grant impacted students who transferred from Valencia College to UCF and the ways in which the UCF/Valencia partnership provided additional support to students before and after their transfer from Valencia to UCF.

CFEED Helps Shape Osceola Prosper Program

Description: Take an engaging look at how CFEED’s innovative data collection and analysis has kept institutional leaders current on trends in acceleration, course patterns, attendance, and enrollment. Learn how our findings led to a partnership between Osceola County and Valencia College which created Osceola Prosper in 2022 and is yielding positive results.
